Our Vision
SMP Boarding School Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Purwokerto’s vision is to become an institution capable of shaping a generation of Qur’an memorizers and practitioners who are strong in faith, noble character, environmental care, and 21st-century skills as a foundation to actively participate and contribute to the global community.
Our Mission
To realize the vision of shaping a generation of Qur’an memorizers and practitioners who are strong in faith, noble in character, environmentally conscious, and possess 21st-century skills for global contribution, the school is committed to implementing the following missions:
1. Strengthening Qur’anic and Islamic Education
To organize a structured and integrated Tahfizh al-Qur’an program that emphasizes not only memorization but also the understanding and application (tadabbur) of its teachings in daily life, while embedding core Islamic values (aqidah, ibadah, muamalah) across all subjects and school activities.
2. Developing Noble Character (Akhlaqul Karimah)
To foster a disciplined, caring, and respectful boarding school environment that actively builds noble character through role modeling (uswah hasanah), habituation of Islamic ethics, and character education programs based on the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the pious predecessors.
3. Integrating 21st-Century Skills in Learning
To implement an innovative and adaptive curriculum that utilizes modern teaching methodologies such as Project-Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning to sharpen critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills, supported by the effective use of digital technology.
4. Cultivating Environmental Awareness and Action
To instill a deep sense of responsibility towards the environment by integrating environmental education into the curriculum and organizing school-wide programs such as waste management, energy conservation, and greening initiatives, making environmental care a lived habit for all members of the school community.
5. Preparing for Global Competence and Contribution
To equip students with the tools to participate in the global community by strengthening proficiency in foreign languages (especially Arabic and English), developing leadership and public speaking skills, and fostering a global perspective on contemporary issues from an Islamic worldview.
6. Building a Synergistic Educational Ecosystem
To establish a strong and collaborative partnership between the school, parents, and the community to create a supportive and holistic educational environment that ensures the consistent development of each student’s potential.
